We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Acoustical Consultant who will be responsible for performing consulting and design services and is looking for advancement into management. The position will require active participation in managing several projects at one time, while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and top-quality work is being delivered to our clients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a BS or MS in a field of science or engineering with at least four years of experience in acoustical consulting. The Consultant will conduct field measurements, develop recommendations for room acoustics, airborne and structure-borne sound insulation, and perform HVAC system noise and vibration control engineering. In addition, the Senior Consultant will conduct environmental noise assessment studies, including the development of noise mitigation. Experience in the design of audio-visual systems would be a plus. Additionally, a Senior Consultant is responsible for preparing design documents, participating in project design team meetings, coordinating with other design team members concerning acoustical design details, developing acoustical criteria for different types of facilities, and preparing proposals for new work. A working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit is desirable. Experience in the use of various sound level instruments is essential. Project work includes direct contact and coordination with our clients. Excellent verbal and writing skills are a must. Some travel can be expected, but mostly it will entail inter-island travel.
