Outreach and Inclusion Committee
The Outreach and Inclusion Committee is responsible for developing initiatives to strengthen the future of NCAC by promoting and growing participation in the acoustical consulting industry and making it more responsive to the present and emerging needs of its membership.
The Outreach and Inclusion Committee will:
- Develop and oversee initiatives to encourage engagement from all acoustical consulting staff of NCAC member firms.
- Develop and oversee programs and resources to promote the acoustical consulting profession to a broader audience of potential consultants.
- Work with VP of Membership to assist with outreach campaigns to potential NCAC members.
- Work with VP of Marketing and Communications to recommend outreach campaigns and activities that raise awareness about the acoustical consulting profession.
- Collect and review feedback from members to ensure NCAC programs are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the diverse interests of members.
- Recommend policies, procedures, and best practices to build a diverse, equitable and inclusive organization across all activities of the organization (professional standards, membership, meetings, programs, etc.).
