D.L. Adams Associates (DLAA) provides consulting and design services in acoustics, performing arts, IT and low-voltage systems with offices located in Denver, CO and Kailua, HI. Since 1979, the firm has grown internationally and provides consulting and design services for clients throughout the United States, South America, Europe and the Pacific Rim. We work on all types of projects from transportation to performance but our primary markets are education, healthcare and multifamily. We provide acoustical, technology and theatre consulting and design services. Acoustics includes sound isolation, mechanical equipment system noise and vibration control, room acoustics, variable acoustics design, environmental noise impact assessments, transportation noise control and industrial noise and vibration control. Technology includes low-voltage, network and wireless infrastructure design, access control design, video surveillance camera system design and AV design for digital signage, distance learning, etc. Theatre services include consulting on size, arrangement and layout, sightlines, seating, back-of-house flow and design of performance lighting, rigging, drapery, orchestra shells, pit lifts and platforming.
