BABICHacoustics is currently seeking candidates to fill one full-time position. This position can either be hybrid in Pittsburgh | Columbus or remote.
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of four years of experience in Acoustics and Noise Control Consulting. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Science/Engineering and/or focused coursework in Physics and Acoustics is preferred. Experience with vibration consulting and/or audiovisual systems is a plus.
The new hire would be responsible for the following:
Provide Project Management for various projects throughout the country, but mainly in the Northeast.
Provide assistance with acoustics and noise control analyses including environmental noise assessments, vibration analyses, architectural acoustics measurements including reverberation time and sound isolation assessments, speech privacy analyses, and sound masking system design + specifications.
Communicate with clients clearly and effectively to provide acoustics and noise & vibration control solutions.
Write project reports and complete reviews and markups with team members to provide recommendations to clients.
Assist with training and guiding other employees/consultants and reviewing their work.
Travel to support construction site visits and client meetings.
Assist with the monthly invoicing process with clients.
Assist with marketing and proposal writing.
Provide Business Development support for winning new work.
Meet with new and existing clients to win additional business in acoustics and noise control consulting.
