The AKRF acoustics, noise, and vibration professionals provide full-service consulting for property, building, energy, and transportation projects throughout the country. Our signature clients have included Coca-Cola, Google, Netflix, NASCAR, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Penn Medicine, New York University, and the American Museum of Natural History.

Successful applicants should be self-motivated, innovative, highly driven, communicative and have the desire to collaboratively work on a wide range of acoustics, noise and vibration projects related to architectural & interior design, environmental sources (e.g., transportation, industry, energy, infrastructure, etc.); construction; structural, and MEP systems.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Acoustics/noise/vibration field measurements
  • Acoustical computer modeling
  • Reviewing architectural/MEP/structural drawings
  • HVAC noise calculations and vibration isolation recommendations
  • Engineering calculations and recommending practical design solutions
  • Preparing of deliverables

Applicant should have a degree in one or more of the following: acoustical engineering, physics, mechanical, electrical or architectural engineering, and/or noise and vibration.

Compensation will range from $65,000-$85,000.
